Do Kettlebell Exercises Stand A Chance In Hunger Games?

Do Kettlebell Exercises Stand A Chance In Hunger Games?

by Rob Sutter

When it comes to the Hunger Games, it is, quite practically, each individual person for themselves. They have to face off against one another, willing or not, in order to ensure that they make it out of the games with their lives undamaged. However, with so many people physically able and holding particular types of skills, such an endeavor may prove to be quite fruitless. Kettlebell exercises stand a good chance of ensuring that the most appropriate person escapes in order to tell their harrowing tale.

The Hunger Games selects two children from every district of Panem in order to fight off the others to the death. Whether or not they are in good shape to do so - physically, emotionally, and mentally - is irrelevant because they don't have a preference on the matter. However, I can't deny the fact that the right level of training can be a game changer. If someone knows a fact or a skill that someone else may not realize, then it only turns the tide in that person's favor that much more.

The utilization of kettlebell exercises means that not only is power being brought up but versatility is going to be honed in many respects. Fitness authorities, Lorna amongst them, will be able to tell you that this is important since it offers a workout traditional free weights cannot. In the realm of the Hunger Games, there's going to be a series of skills and traits shown. This is a treacherous landscape, to be certain, and those who can make the most use out of these weights could potentially profit.

I could imagine that just about any of the Tributes who fight in the Hunger Games could make good use out of these weights. For instance, Katniss Everdeen is proficient with a bow and she can move quite fast as well. However, my concerns lie in just how strong she may be and I don't know if she can perform incredibly heavy lifting. She'd need to blend both versatility and strength into one very effective marriage and that's where I can see these unique weights coming into play.

One can only intend the people who contend in these games the very best. They are essentially wagering with their lives against their own wills and it's up to them alone if they can thrive. Will kettlebell exercises come in to play a part? I feel like they can, considering how adjustable they are and how well they can bring people into fitter shape as compared to other regimens. They need to stay on their games with each part of their bodies up to the task, so I don't think that this way of exercise can go disregarded.
