Basic no equipment exercises

- Squats

- Push-ups (or half pushups)

- Wall push-ups/Bench level push-ups

- Chair triceps dip

- Arm curls (holding anything!)

- Abs bridge (one leg etc)

- Crunches/ V Sits/Side Bends/Plank

For each of these exercises, look to do 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps. If you are just starting out, stick with two sets until you get comfortable - that should take just a few weeks. Then you can add the third set.

How to Lift

It may sound obvious, but lifting is not simply about grunting your way through in any old fashion. There are right and wrong ways to go about it. Here are the keys:

- Breathing: Don't forget to breathe! You should be breathing in a slow, controlled way during your workout. Breathe in as you lift, out as you lower the weight. You'll soon find a comfortable pattern.

- Speed, control and intensity: Although you may see guys throwing the weights around and making a lot of noise, that's not necessary or effective. Good technique requires that you raise and lower the weight slowly and under control. Lift to a slow 2 count, pause, then lower to a 4 count. Lifting slowly like this not only maximizes the effectiveness of your workout, it also protects you from the chances of injury.

- Soreness and recovery: It's normal to feel some mild discomfort in the days after a workout. However, this does not mean you can't get out of bed the next day! If you feel that bad, it means you overdid it. It is much better to go easy at first and gradually increase - if you overtrained the first time, it will discourage you from doing it again. For mild soreness, the best remedy is to stretch your muscles.

- Frequency: as mentioned, you need at least 48 hours of rest between strength workouts, so don't schedule these workouts on consecutive days.

- Warm ups and cool downs: These are often ignored, but are crucial - they will help you to have a better workout, and reduce the risk of injury. Warming up is easy - simply do 5 to 10 minutes of easy cardio before your workout. That can be brisk walking, running, stationary bike, rower, stepper, etc. Cooling down is best achieved by spending 10 minutes stretching at the end of your workout.

Apply these tips and shape your mommy body beautiful. Do the exercises regularly and you'll find it easier to work your way through the endless tasks of first (I.e., work) and "second shift (that is mommy-hood)!"

There is a major disconnect in today's baseball world between coaches and players. Players are becoming increasingly more independent, and coaches have become increasingly more knowledgeable with all the information available at the click of a mouse. As a result, it has become increasingly more difficult to establish yourself as a well-qualified batting coach because you must be able to fully explain the madness behind you batting training methods. This is precisely why I want to share 7 overlooked coaching techniques that will make you a more knowledgeable coach, and a better communicator.

Batting Training Communication Technique #1: Ask a lot of questions. Over the course of my coaching career, I have learned so much more about my players by asking them questions. What do you feel you need to work on? What is one thing that you would feel you would like to improve? What felt differently about that swing versus the previous one? If left unchecked, players will go swing to swing without ever paying attention to the details. This is a fatal mistake and is the root of mediocrity. By getting your players to think out load you find the root of their baseball batting problems and you help them intuitively understand their swing at a higher level.

Batting Training Communication Technique #2: Be the calmest person in the batting cage. Your players face enough pressure and are going to be harder on their performance than you will ever be. If you get frustrated, you loose your ability to explain and thus your ability to coach. You are there to be a guide and mentor, not a disciplinarian or authority. Besides, your frustration is a product of your lack of ability to help your player get the results he is looking for. Before you start blaming the player for not responding, take a step back and ask yourself if you are doing everything you need to do first. Different players learn using different phrases which leads perfectly into tip number three.

Batting Training Communication Technique #3: If at first you don't succeed, it's time to change what you say. All baseball players are not created equal. Every player learns in a slightly different fashion and it is up to you to bridge the learning gap. It is great to have a few key sayings, but if they don't sink in by the fifth swing, it's back to the drawing bored. Baseball batting instructors have to be creative in their approach. It's your job to figure out what makes you player tick. Find his trigger sayings and you unlock the keys to his success. Every player deserves the opportunity to be successful regardless of his talent level. Help them understand what is need to get better.

#4: Follow the Thomas Edison approach. For those of you out there who aren't familiar with Sir Thomas, he invented the light bulb and also delivered one of the best quotes I have ever heard in my life "I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that will not work". Failure is a part of hitting a baseball. In fact, the best only hit a little over .300. Communication is allowing your player to freely form his own opinions and share them with you! I am sure he has feedback on how you could become a better coach! What's the matter, don't like what he has to say? Baseball Coaches are always at the front of the line in arrogance. If you want to be a better baseball batting instructor, ask your player what you could be doing better to connect with him. If he says nothing or that you are doing a great job, he is lying. Find out what he doesn't like about how things are going and you will establish much stronger bond of trust.

Batting Training Communication Technique #6: Be lavish in your praise, and short to criticize. This is an old sales technique. People like to know that they are making progress and are doing a good job. On the flip side, players hate to be criticized and will resent you for it. It has nothing do with you, it's just the way of the world. If you want to get your players to work harder, be lavish in your praise. Reward your players for the smallest accomplishments in your baseball batting training sessions and they will work twice as hard to get better.

Batting Training Communication Technique #7: Baseball is fun, make a joke or two. A lot of comedic things happen the baseball field. Let your players know that it is okay to laugh when something is funny. I have played for too many coaches who take the game to serious. Players play their best baseball when they are relaxed and enjoy the game. If you find things are getting a bit too tense, add some humor to the situation. After all, the reason you start playing the game is because it is fun.

The best baseball coaches are teachers of the game and learn just as much from their players, as their players learn from them. By using the techniques you have learned here today, you will not only become a better communicator, but will have a more rewarding coaching experience. Bridging the gap of communication will allow you build a much stronger bond with the players around you. If you want to take your players talent to the next level, take your communication to the next level.

I haven't decided, yet, where I would like to get trained, but I heard the ashrams in India, Peru and Indonesia are the best because they help yogis better understand Hinduism.

If you prefer to practice yoga as an alternative to other sweatier sports, it is better to opt for a spa retreat which incorporates yoga lessons, as well. This way, you will lose weight and invigorate your look with facial and skin treatments in countries like Italy, Austria, Hawaii and Bali.

The moving forward contract is an exercise in commitment. With this, a couple each writes down three to five things that they will do to make the union stronger. They each need to write the same amount. Then each person reads out loud to the other their plan. After that, each person signs the others paper as a contract to commitment and trying.

Couples therapy exercises for more togetherness will help a couple realize that they are two individuals but that they are also part of a team.
