Its really fun to have it around, but it doesn't go without its drawbacks. You should consider how safe your pool is, especially if you have children in your home. Here are some tips on what to do to avoid accidents and measures to be taken in the unfortunate case that you have to face them. Probably one of the things you have to consider when setting up your pool would be to erect a fence around the perimeter. Are your friends and family noticing measurable changes in your physique? Have you added at least a couple of inches or more to all of your major muscle groups? Are you moving poundages on your squat, deadlift, bench press, row (and every other major compound exercise) that all feel substantially heavy for your body?

If you didn't easily answer "yes" to all of the questions I just outlined above, then worrying about the smaller details of your physique is quite simply a waste of time at this point.

If you're still in your bodybuilding "youth" and don't already have a considerable amount of muscle mass to show for your efforts, I would strongly suggest taking these types of questions and eliminating them from your mind until you do.

Why? It's because diverting your focus onto these small and trivial issues will only serve to distract you from the most important and immediate task at hand. And what is the most important and immediate task a hand? It is to pack as much raw muscle size and strength onto your frame as humanly possible!

Don't worry about matching your biceps to your triceps, and forget about matching your chest to your back. It's simply not worth worrying about these issues until later on, after you've significantly thickened up your entire body.

If you're still a beginner and have been training consistently for less than a year, then stop obsessing over the details. Instead, place all of your focus on the most basic and obvious issues at hand. Get yourself onto a sensible, rational weight training schedule and stick to it religiously.

Write down every single workout that you perform and place every ounce of energy you can muster on adding as much weight to the bar on a consistent basis as you possibly can. Grind out all of the biggest, most difficult compound exercises and blast through those discomfort zones with passion and intensity.

Get yourself into the kitchen and pack in at least 5 or 6 properly balanced muscle building meals every day of the week, every week of the month and every month of the year.

Drink your water, get your rest and take your supplements whenever necessary. In other words: PAY YOUR DUES FIRST!

Focusing on the fundamentals first and the details later is the most efficient path possible.

There are two main objectives that people are armed with as they head towards the gym-- they either want to trim off excess weight, or pack on huge muscles. If you want to lose some pounds and tone up your body, then go on a low calorie diet and aim for high cardiovascular workouts. However, to build bigger muscle you will have to do the opposite. Load up on the calories and brace yourself for intense weight training exercises that will surely get you a massive physique.

Let us focus on muscle building for this particular article. You will need to gain a significant amount of muscle mass and one way to accomplish this is to perform high intensity training for 45 to 75 minutes. Relegate cardiovascular exercises to either once ever week or two. Make the most out of every session by taking only 90 second breaks in between sets.

There are many fancy machines and trendy exercises out there but usually it's the simpler ones that prove most effective. For instance, the squats are still the best exercise you can do for your legs. Slightly shift your position and you can emphasize specific areas of your leg. Add to this by including lunges and calf raises.

The bench press is the classic chest exercise for men. You can alter it by changing up the angle to incline and decline regularly which will do your body well. There are some people who think there are better ways to build up one's chest by performing dumbbell flyes and pullovers instead of bench press. There really is no right or wrong answer, do what your body responds well to as long as your body is constantly challenged and pushed beyond its comfort zone. Accomplish this by continually increasing weights and varying your reps and sets.

To get big arms you cannot go without bench dips and barbell curls. To get even bigger, make it a point to raise the weight loads during succeeding training sessions. Over training is detrimental to the trainer and should be avoided at all costs.

Use pull-ups to exercise your back and military press (sitting and standing) to beef up your shoulders. There are a number of back and shoulder drills which you should also use but these are some of the most effective by far. Modify your workouts every two to six weeks because your body needs to be pushed to its endurance limits for your weight training exercises to work.

Strong cardiovascular training is not advised for those who wish to gain weight and add bulk to their frame. Even so, make it a point to take time out for light aerobic exercises or sports regularly. While your goal is not to burn calories, your heart will be better for the cardio exercises you put in.

Most of all, solidify your weight training exercises by giving it your all every time. You might be able to trick yourself in completing the designated drills with poor form and lackadaisical energy; but do not complain that results are long in coming. Do your best, you won't regret it. Not only will you build bigger muscle-you have an opportunity to build your character and personal tenacity as well.

Each specific man has different goals for his body. Are most men willing to achieve those goals by working out? Do they want a more solid body or do they want a more healthy body? Whether you see it as carpal tunnel syndrome or CTS, this disorder occurs thanks to a weakening of the muscles, tendons, and tissue. The damage can end up giving you a numb or burning feeling almost immediately and if untreated can result in paralysis of the arms. While most people do something about it before reaching this stage, it's important to understand the worst case scenario. Just remember the primary cause is due a compressed median nerve, and it can be treated by using yoga.

The wrist contains the carpal tunnel, a tunnel-like structure that houses the median nerve and flexor tendons for the fingers. If the tunnel constricts or if the contents swell, the median nerve is compressed. The causes of most cases of CTS are unknown; most of the risk is attributed to genetic factors, and environmental factors -- such as excess use -- are disputed.

CTS is often a misdiagnosis for Repetitive Strain Injury, or RSI. In RSI, prolonged periods of repetitive use of the hands can cause pain, numbness, and weakness. This is a common complaint among those who spend a lot of time typing on a keyboard of some description. Though there is little medical evidence to prove its existence, RSI has become recognized as one of the risks of modern living.

No matter how hard medical professionals have tried, there is still no connection with RSI and CTS. Even so, some still be the two are related in some way, shape, or form. What it comes down to is when you overuse your hands; excess fluids help to create the carpal tunnel. So what exactly can you do to prevent this from happening to you?

Your CTS can start healing and be prevented by the simplest procedures. Things such as changing your work environment or behavior are a great place to start when combating CTS. Normally, these operations give people a new lease on their lives, but this isn't always the case, and there can be complications. If you or someone you know has received a hip replacement, they will need to know the following information about faulty Zimmer Durom hip cups used in that operation.

A hip replacement is a common surgery once you reach a certain age. If you're over the age of 60, it's like that you or one of your friends have had one. As we get older, our joints begin to wear out from years of use, especially if we've been active. Joints can also be damaged by progressive diseases such as arthritis, as well as damage from hip breakage. When this occurs, a hip replacement can be a good option for continuing to live an active and healthy life. However, this excuse hasn't held up under scrutiny. When the company themselves performed an evaluation of the Zimmer Durom hip cup, it was found that eight percent must be replaced surgically within two years. This is a far cry from the claims that those receiving this replacement would never need to undergo surgery again, and for many who received these implants, has led to pain and anguish. This has lead to the organization of a class action law suit against the company.

I don't know if you've noticed, but both Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson happen to be dead. Done. Blotto.

And, left in their wake is the burning question, which one of these superstars had more impact on the world. They can be compared, and it doesn't matter that they were in different areas. So, let's take a look.

Bruce Lee wins over MJ when it comes to acting. Heck, Michael hardly made anything, so he gets a bigtime zero. On the other hand, Bruce made a handful of movies that inspire people to this day.

We have an interesting dilemma when it comes to who was the better singer, but Bruce Lee will win again. The dilemma is that Bruce is having more impact than Michael Jackson, even though he didn't make any songs. Are you going to call that mugger a PYT, or give him a woop woop that will chill him to the bone and remind him that there are people in this world who can kick some serious ass!

Bruce Lee has the edge when it comes down to the all important question of moves. Michael couldn't do the splits or kick somebody's adam's apple or anything worthwhile, all he could do was walk backwards funny. But, if asked to, I'll bet Bruce could have moonwalked like a sucker.

.Bruce wins on downright sheer impact. Michael encouraged a generation of young, impressionable minds to walk backwards funny, uh, walk funny backwards, uh, you know. Bruce, on the other hand, encouraged several generations, and is still going strong, as to the value of healthy living, being able to protect yourself, living an artistic lifestyle, and on and on and on.

I think it is obvious that Bruce wins hands down when it come to who had more presence. Michael never said a line like...you have offended my family, you have offended Shaolin. Really, except for a lyric or two, can anybody remember much of anything that Michael said?

So Bruce Lee would have kicked Michael Jackson's skinny, little ass, dead or alive. Oh, you think I rigged the results worse than an OJ trial? Well, you better walk backwards funny away from me and whisper in your hat, my friend, because I study Bruce Lee.

Whether you are a professional bodybuilder, contact sports player or just someone getting your body in shape, it is imperative that you don?t neglect your legs for many reasons. The legs are often over looked when working out, as people tend to work towards the bigger chest and arms. There are important reasons to work your legs just as much as the rest of your body.

Why do legs play such an important role in one's daily workout? If you are interested in reading more about exercises, you are going to learn that muscles burn up the fat content during exercising. When you do your daily overall workout, you are going to gain muscle weight. The majority of your muscle mass is concentrated in your legs. Building up the muscles of the legs is going to help your body to work even harder.

Anabolic hormones which are needed to stimulate overall muscular growth are released when your leg muscles begin to develop even more. You do not have so many muscles in your arm region, so it is logical that the larger muscles of your leg would release more anabolic hormones.

For the aesthetic purposes, who wants to look at someone built up on the top and skinny at the bottom? Working out your legs provides a balanced body. You want to look good all over if you are working out.

The best way to do a leg workout routine is to push those leg muscles to near failure . Perform 8 to 12 reps per set, doing 2-4 sets per exercise. It's advisable to work each major muscle with 2-5 different exercises (depending on your tolerance level and workout experience).

Remember that you need to rest between exercises. One minute rest will allow your muscles to recover, but not so much that those anabolic hormones stop releasing themselves, because the muscles are relaxed. Then go in for lifting those weights again.

Once you have decided upon the look you want for your legs- lean mean look or muscled look- select the proper and best exercises, which can help you achieve your goal.

It is necessary that you warm up before going in for leg workouts. This can be through cardio exercises or running. This makes sure that you do not suffer from muscular injury.

Exercises you can do include leg extensions, power cleans, squats, Romanian dead-lifts, hamstring curls, and calf rises (seated and standing). This is not an all-inclusive list, and the number of reps and sets need to be individualized to match you level.

It is necessary to take the advice of a trained trainer before you go in for a strenuous workout routine. With proper workouts, you would not mind showing off your legs in shorts.

You will not only feel great, but your whole overall performance in sports, workouts, and general activities will be enhanced.

Staying Positive When Losing Arm Fat

So many women focus on finding the perfect arm workout, the perfect supplement or the perfect diet. And many times, said women actually burn out before even getting started because they are trying to find that perfect solution.

Unfortunately, perfection, by definition does not exist. And let's suppose for a second that the perfect program did in fact exist. Do you have the willpower to stick with it week in and week out, month in and month out?

I would bet money that many women wouldn't be able to. Why? Because staying motivated for long periods of time (sticking with it) is NOT easy. Especially, if you have no mental game plan in place.

How do you stay motivated ad infinitum? We are very complex creatures psychologically speaking, and answering this question within the space of a single article is impossible. However, I do have 4 rapid fire tips for staying motivated if you're trying to lose arm fat:

1. Motivate yourself with a carrot, not a whip. How many times do you tell yourself, "I have to work out today", "I should be eating a healthy meal", or "I must be strict." Use this type of internal verbiage, and your motivation will erode. Instead, tell yourself that you WANT to do it. Visualize the positive outcomes of your behavior.

2. Use a scientific attitude when you fail. What's the first thing you do when you mess up? You get emotional! Even worse, some women internalize the situation and put all the blame on themselves. The end result? A sense of low self efficacy and reduced willpower to move forward. If you mess up, analyze the situation, the EXTERNAL factors that led to the malfunction. Never label or blame yourself.

3. Understand that motivation isn't instantaneous. Nobody has oodles and oodles of motivation on demand. Many times, even the most successful people have to start moving regardless of how they feel in order to get motivated. If you feel like doing nothing one day, and this will happen, simply start going through the motions!

4. Never let criticism get you angry. There are extremely critical people in this world that have no issue with vocalizing their every thought. Do not let said critics destroy your flabby arm resolve. Instead, deconstruct the criticism and define every element in it. Once you define the elements, most criticisms are found to be baseless.

Learning how to optimize your thought processes takes time. It doesn't happen overnight, and there will be times when these strategies don't work. But you can never give up. In the worst case scenario, try to minimize the damage and get right back on track to losing that arm fat!

While training hard and heavy may be awesome for your muscles, it can be trouble for the health of your joints and connective tissue. This is simply the reality of intense weight training, and while there are no guarantees that you will be able to completely avoid getting injured, you can certainly take specific steps to lessen the chance.

An injury is the absolute last thing you could ever hope for, as it will stop you dead in your muscle-building tracks. Down below I'm going to outline my "5 golden rules" when it comes to minimizing the risk of injury. If you can honestly say that you implement all 5 of these into your training program, then your risk of getting hurt will be much lower than someone who does not.

1) Never begin without a proper warmup. A proper warmup is something you must perform every single day before your routine, because it will decrease amazingly your chances of injury. Also, it will increase the amount of weight that you are able to lift during your actual workout. So, its necessary if you want to achieve better results and protect your own body. This activity will increase the temperature of your body and will stimulate your heart and lungs. It will also lubricate your joints.

2) Make sure that you are doing it right. Ask someone if you don't know the right technique for a proper bench press or any other form of workout. Besides, if you're doing the exercise wrong, you'll probably end up stressing your joints making you more vulnerable to injuries. For example, when you are lifting up the dumbbells, you should never lower them with a jerk, since that easily result in tearing of the ligaments.

3) Compete only with yourself. There may be a lot of huge guys in your gym. If you try to compete with them, if you want to train in the same way that them...it's a sure thing that you'll get an injurie. There'll be a time when you'll be able to do that, until that time, the record you have to beat is your own record.

4) Never try to over-train. If you feel that you can't handle it anymore, the best thing to do is stop and take some rest until the next set. This situation, perhaps is the most injury-prone that you can ever get yourself into.

5) Watch out for signs. Watch out for a probable sign of a forthcoming injury. Therefore, if you experience some pain after an intense workout, stop! Take a break for 1-2 days until the pain is completely gone.
