The Polar F4 Hear Monitor finally provides you with the equipment you need to provide information you want to evaluate your workout and take it to the next level. Likewise, it can be used for those on a diet and seeking to drop some weight. Polar has already developed a reputation that it produces superior made products which function beautifully. Polar has long been recognized as a leader in the heart monitor industry. Indeed, Polar has been creating quality products and been involved in development since 1977 at the time the initial EKG monitor was introduced to the market. Since then and especially beginning in the 1990s, however, as people began to pay more attention to diet and exercise, Polar really came into its own and became more popular and well known. The F4 Polar Heart Rate Watch is another instrument which can be used by novice and expert fitness buffs alike. It has easy to understand features, a sleek and straightforward design and is recognized as a cut above competitive products. Below is a quick overview of the Polar F4.

Ideal Fetures

This Polar heart rate watch is stacked with so many wonderful features that help take workouts and training to another level. The Polar ZonePointer is a unique and handy function that is exclusive to Polar Heart Monitors. It shows target heart zones through an audible and even visual feature. This helps in the safety aspect of training by showing the user if they are overworking themselves. Polar OwnCal is the other handy and exclusive feature that displays the amount of energy the user has used up in a session. It also helps anyone set targets for workouts whether they are daily or weekly goals. This can take the guess work out of your training.

The Polar F4 Heart Monitor has much more features. It also doubles as an everyday watch as it is available with a twenty-four hour clock with a display for day and date too. It has a stop watch and is water resistant down to thirty meters or one hundred feet. On average, the battery has a life of one year and like the other Polar Heart Monitors, is available with a warranty for two years.

Downside

There are only a couple of problems with this Polar Heart Rate Watch. The chest strap for the F4 sometimes has trouble connecting with the monitor. The signal quality has been poor on some. The other problem is hardware and more particularly how sun tan lotion affects it. There have been some cases where this has happened.

Despite these problems, the F4 Polar Heart Rate Watch is one of the more well build and reliable monitors. Speaking to the monitors' quality and performance, at Amazon.com the average user rating has been four out of a possible five stars.
