How To Build A Low Cost Home Gym

How To Build A Low Cost Home Gym

by Daron Ourth

Surprisingly, one of the top three home gym machines for six pack abs isnt a machine at all. Its a fun-looking gadget that is called an exercise ball. They come in several sizes and are used in accordance with your skill and level, and of course, your height. Its one of the best types of equipment you can have since its extremely versatile and can be used for many different kinds of abs exercises and can be adapted for weights training too. It helps your posture when you sit on it (which also strengthens your abs) and the ball crunch and other terrific exercises can be found on Youtube or other instructional sites all over the net. You can use this anytime, for your workouts, while youre relaxing with the TV, or while working on the computer. Read more home gym reviews now.

Since you can go at a fluid speed with strength bands, there is no risk to joint injury, unlike free weights. Not to mention that the fitness tubes sell for less than fifty dollars, where as with free weights... fifty dollars worth will get you only about 50 pounds of weight. However, with the exercise tubes you will get up to 234 pounds. To get up to 150 lbs. in free weights you will more than likely have to drop another 100.00 dollars. And don't forget you also need to purchase a bench, and a pull up bar.

Many people buy things just because others have them. Just keep in mind that there is no perfect exercise. As long as you are following a daily regime of 20-30 minutes of workout, any one exercise is just as good as another. The only thing to keep in mind is that home gym fitness equipment should be able to increase your heart rate. Bike and elliptical trainer provide low-impact exercise, but it is also important to lift weights for strength training.

Used home gyms are also an option for shoppers on a budget. Used fitness equipment can be found on eBay, in the classified section of any newspaper, or from many of the same places that also sell new home fitness gyms. Many of these used home gyms are in like new condition because the original owners never used them very much, and since the owners may be desperate to sell them, they may be heavily discounted. It is important that purchasers buy from a reputable source, since used equipment may not have the same warranties as new home gyms. If possible, buyers should stick to controlled settings like eBay or, if buying through the local classifieds, take a look at what they are buying before spending any money.

Determine your aim and keep an eye on your progress. When making goals, it has to be S-M-A-R-T; specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. Say, your goal will be to get rid of your unwanted six-kilogram pregnancy weight in two months. That is your specific and time-bounded goal. Measure it through the amount of calories you burn every workout or the kilos you drop weekly. Dont strive for a 6-kilogram weight reduction in just one week. It's going to bring you trouble. It must be attainable and realistic. Then assess your progress to make sure you are on the right track.
