Some Ideas For Pool Party Games For Kids

Kiddie parties are great to have because it can be one of the best bonding experiences that adults and children can actually have at the same time. Now in order to make these parties really fun, there should be a lot of games because everybody loves fun things. Hosts should be able to know some pool party games for kids in order to keep the guests busy.

When one thinks of swimming pools, probably the first game he will think of is the swim race. This can be used as the first game of the day because it is something that is self explanatory. However, if one were to host this game, he should be extra careful because there will be a risk that some children cannot swim and might even drown.

The coin or object hunt is another great way to pass the time because it is challenging and fun. In a nutshell, the host must toss a coin or a small object in the middle of the water. The children who are the participants, will spread out to all corners of the swimming pool. When the host gives the go signal, everyone search for the object and the first one who gets it will be the winner of the game.

Another game that is of really great fun is water basketball because it is actually tougher to play in the water than on land. This is quite the same as real basketball with the only exception that the rules are more lenient than the one on the court. The objective is of course to see which team scores the most points.

The classic game of tag can also be played in the water. The it will be the one to wait inside the water. The remaining players will jump into the pool at the same time. The goal is to catch the other players while the others must avoid the it. The players have five seconds to stay out of the pool to take a break.

Hose limbo is another great activity in kiddie parties. Everyone probably knows the game of limbo where one has to lean back as he walks underneath a piece of wood. In hose limbo, someone will spray water from a hose. Players must lean back and get under the stream of water without getting wet in order to win this game.

Dodge ball is another all time favorite among the children. In swimming parties, the ball that is usually used are water balloons. Basically, there are two groups who will have an abundant supply of water balloons. Like dodge ball, the teams must hit members of the enemy team in order to win. The team who hits all the members of the enemy team will be the winner.

So for hosts of kiddie parties out there, try out these pool party games for kids. Now before hosting these kinds of games, one should always think of safety first. Children are somewhat reckless which may end up in disaster so it is always important for several adults to watch over.
