Very refined or lower class lean meats should be avoided, or else, just get used to enjoying your pick of succulent grub, from chicken to poultry to sausage. Indeed, bacon is a paleo sanctioned meal; however, like most paleo foods, take pleasure in meats like sausage without excess. Just select a few different meat selections to include in your paleo shopping list.
Eggs are an outstanding supply of protein along with omega-3 essential fatty acids; which should be a staple to be included on any paleo grocery list. Coconut oil also adds a nice hint of coconut flavor to your dishes; especially lovely for meals such as stir frys. Olive oil is also allowed on the paleo diet. Vegetable oils should be avoided. Some paleo dieters will still consume butter, however, it is not officially part of the paleo diet. If you can't live without butter, opt for a grass fed variety.
Even paleo dieters must have snacks every again and now. Nuts make an outstanding paleo snack choice. Full of unsaturated fatty acids, nearly all nut products are a wonderful option. Remember, even so, nuts are a legume, instead of a nut. All beans are off the dinner table within the paleo menus, consequently include peanuts with your nut alternatives.
All grains and highly processed sugars are generally not allowed in a paleo diet. This includes fundamentally any bread, flour product; pasta, rice and bagels or similar products are all off limits. This is a great opportunity to invest in a small blender or food processor and start getting creative in the kitchen with your own dips, toppings and spices.
