In the armed forces, communication is crucial. If communication breaks down, a number of disastrous consequences could occur. Important information would not get passed down from the Chief of Command to the chain of non-commissioned officers and to the soldiers. Other materials useful for this purpose include stainless steel, plastic and composite material.Some posts can extend up to 59 feet high and are often fixed to towers or other buildings. For maximum protection and effectiveness, masts must be constructed and assembled with great care and attention to detail. Failure to exercise care or follow such details can compromise the integrity of the antenna.

Without proper positioned antenna masts, armed forces all over the world would not be able to securely share information that could mean the difference between life and death. The government understands the meaning of such equipment and invests heavily in making sure their armed forces have state-of-the-art communication equipment. Installation of the same is also done by well-trained professionals; most of them in the forces too.
