The reason why they do this is to ensure that they are taking the right people for the sake of the reputation of their soccer programs. That is why you may find them evaluating your body size and athleticism spirit.

You also need to know that coaches would not be interested in most of your personal qualifications. It is not always correct to say that coaches would pick you into their soccer competition programs because you score well in class. They would also not consider if you come from a soccer champions generating family. They would simply concentrate on your soccer talents and skills.

The soccer game has its own challenges and drawbacks. As player, you should know that you are always under the command of the coach daily. When you do not seem to meet the standards in the field, the coach has the mandate to reproach you and force you into some of the vigorous warm-ups. You need to be sure that this environment is not the best for you unless you have adequate mental toughness.

On the other hand, the coaches would like to find out how you score in your academic class work. The fact that you have skills for soccer, but cannot score well in class may not guarantee you the opportunity. Do not forget that the recruitment is taking place among students and you do not have to go the poorly performing student.

It is also important for you to know that they consider your behaviors and level of discipline. There is no way you would succeed in the world of soccer if you were always undisciplined. Some of the people they may wish to consult to know much about your discipline include your teachers.

Furthermore, you should also know that the recommendations for your physician might affect your recruitment. It is not advisable to subject players with health complications in the vigorous soccer activities. This is why; you would find coaches asking you for medical recommendations from your doctors during the high school football recruiting.
