A good case can be made that, in the human body, our joints and the surrounding soft tissue are our weakest links. Indeed, joint pain affects tens of millions of Americans.

It is also possible that you could be avoiding small niggles, which may be affecting you from time to time and overcoming them with medications that are commonly available.

Things would be different if you had suffered injuries, which had left your joints sore or inflamed. However, if you are facing this issue regularly you will do well to know that it could be an indication for something worse to follow.

Joint pain or arthritis does not develop overnight, and it takes years before your joints deteriorate and leave you with soreness and stiffness. However, the indications will have been provided to you from an early age which you would have ignored. Being overweight and not giving your body the essential nutrient's is one reason for deteriorating joints, which is often ignored. Age is definitely a factor but is not the only factor which contributes to deteriorating health of the joints. However, this is a surefire indicator that your body is prone to such problems at some time in the future.

Exercising is also very important for both bone and joint health. Some exercises that you could do include: walking, biking, aerobics, and weight-lifting. Doing weight bearing exercises helps the bones to become stronger, builds up muscles, and helps with balance which may help reduce falls and fractures.

It is also important to keep exercising to help prevent or reduce the risk for arthritis. Osteoarthritis affects the cartilage that cushions the end of the bones and joints. It affects the fingers, knees, hips, and can cause joint pain and stiffness.

When it comes to a nutritional product that supports joint health, look for one that includes glycine and histidine, amino acids that promote neuromuscular control and that maintain flexible joints. Boron is also crucial, as it helps maximize bone health through the increased retention of calcium and magnesium.

Making sudden changes may not seem an easy task but will have to be done for the benefit of your body. One way of accomplishing this feat would be to add nutritional supplements, which will help aid the health of your joints.

Our joints may be the body's weak link, but using targeted nutrients can help us strengthen that link and ensure that our joints and soft tissues will continue to serve us for years to come.
