For everything that is being done for people's favor, there are other people waiting to malign it with unethical practices. Since, today people are becoming more health conscious, the market of diet fads and acai berry has practiced a boom. This boom has attracted a lot of scammers who use this boom for their own good by employing wring ways of duping innocent people.
The number of online scammers is in thousands and The Federal Trade Commission has caught many and is still in the process of catching more. The Commission is saying that they are getting hundreds of complaints about the illicit practices carried in the name of acai berry.
There are so many complaints of which a usual one is that it is so difficult to find out the proper info regarding the billing process. There are many consumers who complain that they have started getting huge bills after the trial period of the acai berry product was over. And moreover, the trial period of every company is different. Others complained that the fine print was so fine that it made it almost impractical to read the complete terms and conditions and once they purchased the product without reading the complete set of terms and conditions, the seller didn't allow them to cancel the deal.
There are ways to protect yourself from these types of scams but you have to be extremely careful while buying an acai berry product. You would need to conduct your own research. Read the fine print and if you are unable to read it, then search for other web sites for the product. Every company is not the same and there are some genuine companies in existence selling reliable acai berry products.
The scammers will say anything to make you buy the product. However, you need to make a study yourself about the facts mentioned in the web site. Some web sites will deliberately misspell the name of the product which you particularly need to be aware of. They will use words like acia berries, Akai berry etc.
