Cardiff International Pool
One of Britains largest swimming pool is situated at Cardiff names as The Cardiff international swimming pool. The pool is not only the biggest in the UK but the whole of the UK. The pool stands at the International sports village among other sports facilities originally built as a training facilitator for the London 2012 Olympics. This swimming pool was built at an amazing 32 million pounds and stands today as in international standard swimming pool not only in name but also by deed. This particular pool has set a standard by which all pool in the UK should be built.
During its opening in 2008, the swimming pool attracted a large number of people that is though to be in the region of 3 million. As the pool has been building in international standards, the pool consists of 50 metres of 10 lanes. For the less serious swimmers, they are able to use the only the half the lengths. The pool conducts swimming lesions for children. The spectator area can accommodate a 1000 people at a time. The rooms for changing are built as individual rooms with larger rooms for teams and families.
In addition, for the leisurely and the fun swimmers there is amazing leisure pool that constitutes fountains, Jacuzzi, shallow regions for babies, water slides for children and adults alike. The water flumes for adults constitute about 200m in length, a lazy river, a space bowl, water sprouts. It's an absolute to be in it. The pool caters for everyone. It is definitely one the best swimming pools in Britain.
In addition, the complex consists of a health and fitness studio that is fully air conditioned. There are instructors that give advice on how to use the equipment properly. The fitness studio conducts fitness classes that include the spin tone, RPM, yoga, toning using the ball, box and tone. Whatever your style and level, there is something for all.
In addition, there are 2 dance studios, a sauna, a big sized jacuzzi and several steam rooms. The place also consists of a crche, a cafe and free car parking.
