What You Should Look For In A Mineral Supplement.

What You Should Look For In A Mineral Supplement.

by Neil Butterfield

In order to stay healthy you need to intake the right amounts of vitamins and minerals. The trouble is that far too often we do not get the necessary quantities and so you need to assess your dietary supplements and evaluate what is the right vitamin or mineral supplement for you and what you should look for in a mineral supplement.

Most people buy a multi-vitamin/mineral by going into a vitamin store and choosing one that has a 100% or more. But if this multi-vitamin is a pill, (even chelated) you're getting less than 25% of what's listed on the bottle. Shocking isn't it? You thought that little multi was giving you all you needed.

Not even all liquid supplements or other supplements are created equal; liquid Ionic mineral supplements are actually the best. That is because they are water-based so your body absorbs them more readily. In fact, these type of supplements almost 100% absorbable.

But wait, you're probably saying, 'aren't fruits and vegetables better then supplements?? That's true, but there's a problem, and the problem isn't your fault.

You see, modern foods don't contain the nutrients it once did, (like it did in our grandparents? time.) So even if you eat correctly, you could still be lacking some minerals.

Vitamins and minerals (also known as micronutrients,) are impossible for your body to make and difficult to find in today's foods, so supplements really are the best way to go.

However, as good as supplements are, let's remember unprocessed foods are still the best way to get vitamins and minerals because of their complexity, high fiber content, and ability to strengthen our immune system.

Do you need a mineral supplement? If you eat a perfect diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats and fish, every day, you might not need one. But I don't know anyone who eats like that, do you? So for the rest of us, a mineral supplement becomes necessary..

If you have any one following conditions, you definitely need a liquid ionic mineral supplement.

*You eat less than 1500 calories a day *You have food allergies *You have had surgery on your digestive tract *You dont eat well every day *You are a vegetarian *You are a woman who has heavy bleeding during your menstrual cycle *You are pregnant or breast feeding *You are postmenopausal *You are on medication that can excrete nutrients from your body *You suffer from chronic diarrhea

Always read the label before buying any type of supplement. Especially with liquid supplements, you want to follow the dosing instructions carefully. Don't forget, with a liquid ionic mineral supplement youre getting much more effectiveness than with a pill. That's good for your body, so protect your health today.
