These days obesity and being overweight has reached outbreak proportions. It is no wonder that so many folks want to lose weight. There are many reasons to lose weight from the visual reasons, like looking good to charm a mate or to fit in those cool pants to what is probably the most vital reason and that is for excellent health.

Every body carries their fat stores a little in a different way. One individual may have large thighs and a huge butt but a somewhat lesser upper body and the next person will carry it in the core in the abdominal region. If you carry your fat in your butt and thighs your body is shaped more like a pear. If you carry your fat in your abdominal section your body is shaped more like an apple. The way that you carry your fat very much affects your healthiness.

The pear-shaped women, who carry all of their surplus weight in their butt and thighs, are at a health benefit over the apple shaped women. While they may have more inconvenience finding "jeans that fit" and they may struggle with body image just as much as the apple-shaped woman, they do not have the same wellbeing issues to contend with. The body fat they hold on their butts and thighs is not inevitably injurious to their wellbeing.

Apple shaped women, who carry the extra weight in their abs and core are at higher hazard for heart disease, diabetes and other health troubles. The difficulty is that the fat accumulates around the internal organs and prevents their bodies from working as well as possible. A pear-shaped female does not have this difficulty because of course their are no inner organs in our butts and thighs!

To resolve if you are an apple or a pear, you must calculate your waist-hip ratio. Divide your waist in inches by your hips in inches and if the result is o.8 or less you are considered to be a pear. If the result is more than 0.8 then you are an apple shape. For instance a 28 inch waist divided by a 38 inch hip is 0.73 a pear, while a 32 inch waist divided by the same 38 inch hip is 0.84 or an apple.

While a pear may express grief her big butt and thunder thighs it is by and large more of a body image predicament, while the apple can be facing some very crucial health risks. Exercise and a wise diet are fundamental if you are apple shaped and losing even as little as 2 inches off your waist can help out your health risks. The type of body that you have is not something that you can control but you can do whatever is essential to lose the excess fat or even better, of course, is to not gain it in the first place.
