Malibu Pilates Chair-A Closer Look

Malibu Pilates Chair-A Closer Look

by Steve Estes

If you are looking around for a great piece of exercise equipment, consider the Malibu Pilates Chair. Like most machines of this type, the MPC is getting major attention from the lose weight crowd. And there is a good reason for this. Technology like this isn't just about your life easier, it's about getting things done well. If you are concerned about weight loss, or even just staying in shape, you are going to need the correct strategy for doing so. You need to learn to work smarter, not just harder.

If you compare this device to the Pilates Reformer, the king of the exercise machine universe, you'll find the Malibu Pilates Chair is so compact and easy to use. It's lightweight and folds right up when not in use. And like the Reformer it gives you a whole body workout but at a fraction of the cost. Book this one at about three hundred and fifty clams, it is very cost effective. A PR is going to set you back 2-3 thousand dollars. The savings are obvious.

The MPC is a great starting point for your entry into the world of Pilates exercise. While a rank beginner may want to start slow, you can quickly get up to speed with this machine. It is compact and is easily stored if you need to get it out of the way in a hurry.

The Malibu chair makes your workout so much easier. Not that it does the work for you, but it will make your workout more effective. The way it is designed, as you progress in its program you will begin to watch the all those pounds melt away like magic.

When I was still in my "hefty" days I didn't have all these easy methods. It was hours in the gym with sweat, pain, and months of struggle. If this had been around I don't see any problem of being able to easily lose 20 pounds in one month...or perhaps less.

Just so I don't give the impression that this is perfect I'll mention a couple of the down sides: The one I used at the local health club seemed to offer a greater range of functional motion, but I suppose that comes down to additional cost as well. I like a longer workout that the basic 20 minute one that comes on the free DVD. But that is fie because there is the full hour long Body Sculpting session on there as well. And don't forget that it comes with a wall chart and custom diet program.
